Hanamatsuri 2024

Guadalupe Buddhist Church Community

An annual event held in April to celebrate Buddha's birthday, the community comes together to build the flower altar.

Hanamatsuri is a Japanese word that literally means "flower festival". It's also known as Buddha's Birthday Flower Festival, and is a spring festival that celebrates the birth of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became the Buddha.
