Community Driven
Our Roots/Our Routes is a 100% volunteer-run project, made possible by the backing of our community, and there are several ways to support our efforts. You can volunteer, donate, or connect us with family and friends who would like to be part of our living history archive.
Nonprofit Organization
We are a nonprofit collaborative, fiscally sponsored by Ecologistics, Inc., a San Luis Obispo-based 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
Donation Supported
Your financial contribution sustains our vital work of gathering and sharing the living histories of the Central Coast's diverse communities. Donations fund our documentation program, community outreach efforts, and archiving processes, ensuring that these stories are preserved for future generations.
Building Belonging
Your support contributes to strengthening our diverse Indigenous, immigrant, and ethnic communities in sharing their living (hi)stories on the Central Coast. Together we are fostering a greater sense of place based belonging, representation and connection.
