OROR collaborator and sociologist Dr. Lata Murti completed an academic book chapter, forthcoming in a collection she co-edited, Women of Color in Community: Ties that Thrive. The chapter, “Grandmothers by Age Sisters by Experience: Immigrant Generation Affinities among Japanese American and South Asian American Women,”  features and analyzes oral history interviews conducted through OROR, with local Japanese American women in Santa Barbara County

This book is priced for academic libraries, but OROR is working to make the book available at public libraries in Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County.
