Elizabeth Sine

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Sine is a researcher, writer, teacher, and community and cultural worker. She is a historian of race, labor, and social movements (Ph.D. from US San Diego) and teaches in the History Department at Cal Poly SLO. She is the author of Rebel Imaginaries: Labor, Culture, and Politics in Depression Era California (Duke University Press), co-editor of Another University Is Possible (University Readers), as well as a range of scholarly articles, book chapters, journalistic and magazine pieces, and poetry. Her various roles in educational and social justice work include serving as Humanities Advisor to R.A.C.E. Matters SLO. She is also a lover of all things outdoors, especially things that involves trails, the ocean, and her family.
